Where Has My Dog Gone app for iPhone and iPad

Where Has My Dog Gone was written by a retired speech-language pathologist. This app can be used by teachers, parents and speech-language pathologists as a supplement to teach the early prepositions and the early developing sound /d/ through interactive play. The children will enjoy learning prepositions by touching a sign to activate the characters to perform actions like telling the dog on the bike to ride "up" or "down" the slide. Through repeated activation of the signs the child will learn the prepositions the same way they learn that a stop sign means the driver should stop.

The prepositions and words to be learned are: stop/go, up/down, below/above, behind/in front, on/off, in/out, over/under, out/in, and the additional words run and goodnight.

Use the words beginning with the sound /d/ to teach or reinforce this early developing sound; dog, doll, down, hot dog, duck.

At any time during the story of Where Has My Dog Gone the child can turn the page by clicking the icon in the bottom right corner to go forward or by clicking the icon in the bottom left corner to go to the previous page. Once the last page (information page) is on the screen there is an exit button that will take you back to the opening page.
